To stay at the newly opened (2006) Riu Palace Punta Cana is to take a short trip to paradise! This grandiose hotel, constructed in palatial style with pillars and fountains in a beautiful French garden, stands proud like a castle overlooking the Arena Gorda Beach in Punta Cana.
Within the exotic pool area there are complimentary sun-loungers, parasols, bathers' towels and a jacuzzi which is integrated into the main swimming pool. The children have of course their own pool. There is a swim-up pool-bar and poolside restaurant. If one prefers the beach lies just beyond the pool area where one also finds complimentary sun-loungers.
The children have a playground and Mini-Club where activities are arranged daily for 4 to 12 year olds. For the adults activities are also arranged every day. There is also a gym.
Visit the Eternal Spa on Caribbean Street which is the focal point of the Riu Resort. Here you can for an additional charge spoil yourself with a variety of beauty treatments and massage.
Riu Palace Punta Cana is an 'All-Inclusive' establishment including the following in the price (the management reserves the right to periodically revise the content):
- Breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets with everything the heart could desire, some dishes made 'on-the-spot' and also theme buffets several times a week (it is possible to visit several restaurants throughout the Riu Resort, more information from reception)

- À la carte dinner at various restaurants where table reservation is necessary
- Unlimited consumption of selected international and local drinks (with or without alcohol) in all bars in the Riu Resort 24/7 (respective of opening hours)

Riu Palace Punta Cana provides a varied programme of evening entertainments every evening with live music, shows and special Riu performances.
